第一类：探讨双方

1. Some people think that（观点A） it is necessary to use animals for testing medicines or other products intended for human use. Others（观点B）, however, criticize this as animal cruelty. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

四段式，除了开头段和结论段，主体段是两段：

探讨双方：主流写法

主体段（一）：

讨论观点A：站在A的立场说话

英语四级是什么水平 通过率高吗

四六级的分数都是经过标准化处理的。处理后的分数结果在[290, 710]区间内服从正态分布。均值500，标准差70。一般所说的"过"，都是指分数超过了430左右的某个"及格线"。

英语四级是什么水平

1、英语四级VS托福

(1) 四级达到及格线425分，则托福基本能达到50分；

(2) 四级达到中等分数线500分，则托福基本能达到70分；

(3) 四级达到中上等分数600分，则托福基本能达到90-100分；

(4) 四级达到650分以上，则托福基本能达到100+。

2、英语四级VS雅思

(1)四级达到450分左右，则雅思基本能达到5.0分；

(2)四级达到540分以上，则雅思基本能达到6.0分；

(3)四级达到580分以上，则雅思基本能达到6.5分；

(4)四级达到600分以上，则雅思基本能达到7.0分。

英语四级通过率

四级全国总体通过率约40%，有的学校高一些，普通本科学校四级第一次通过率为40%，第二次考试通过率约60%，而英语专业通过率很高，通过率百分之95以上。

四级的话，只要高中英语成绩好一点的话，完全裸考是没问题的。只是一般来说，很多大学里面大一是不能参加英语四级考试的，看你是因为什么想要学英语，是为了工作需要个证书，那需要什么证书考什么证书就可以了。

但是如果是说想提升自己的能力，建议去学点真正有用的，比如商务英语啊什么的;证书的话感觉就没那么重要了，毕竟面试的时候是用英语直接跟人家交流，实力怎么样人家不用看证书就知道了。四级和高中英语有所区别，它侧重于词汇量的掌握和对于英语听说能力的掌握。不过要是高中的底子打得好的话，考试的时候很沾光的。
