英语雅思6.5级是啥水平 算高吗

一般来说雅思，如果你的英语水平过了4级的话，你考雅思6.5分是可以的，如果连四级都没有过的话，那雅思6.5分很难实现，基本上是不可能的。

而如果你的英语水平过了6级了的话，那么考雅思6.5分的几率就很高了，当然这也不是绝对的。雅思6.5分是什么水平?考雅思6.5分，一般要求词汇量应达6000到8000个。雅思6.5分是英语硕士研究生的低要求。

雅思6.5级算高吗

从严格意义上来说，雅思6.5分只能算得上尚可，但并不算高分。

一般说来雅思成绩达到雅思5.0即可申请欧洲学校(仅限于初、高中生申请入学)，如果是申请研究生则雅思成绩是至少需要雅思6.5分。

诸如剑桥、牛津、MIT等学校申请则是需要雅思成绩至少是7.0的，所以雅思6.5分才只能算是刚及格分数。

但是为什么一般学校都会把雅思6.5分设置为入学门槛呢?

雅思6.5分被认为你已经拥有基本的英语水平，具备在英语环境下基本的生活、学习、工作等能力，虽然略有瑕疵，但是不妨碍正常的语言交流。

如果雅思总成绩低于6.5分，则会认为你还没有掌握大多数英语听说读写的技巧，如果继续留学深造，可能并不能适应异国环境。

英语四级和雅思 6.5 之间存在一定的联系，具体而言可能四级高分段更接近雅思 6.5 分的水平，但是也不可以一概而论，得具体分析。
